The new versions of Twitter include a few additional changes, including the ability to swipe between the “Home,” “Discover” and “Activity” timelines within the app.
The update also put a Messages tab across the bottom navigation bar, making it easier to access Direct Messages from the home screen.
On the new version of the Android app, users can tap the star icon next to the Follow button on a profile page to set up notifications for that particular user. An Android-only feature, they can set up notifications for anybody on the platform, not just celebs or high-profile tweeters.
The updated versions of the app are available now on iOS and Android.
